Beautiful all year round and lit up in the summer evenings Festival of Lights offering free live entertainment in stunning surroundings.
Coastal Walkway
Govett Brewster Art Gallery
Runs for 8 kilometres along the seafront, and suitable for everyone. It is mostly flat and is enjoyed by walkers, runners, and cyclists. Mobility scooters are available for hire.
Has a permanent collection of contemporary work of artists from New Zealand and abroad, and ever changing exhibitions of international note.
